        Frequently asked questions

        Your questions answered.
How is this different from just using a shared Gmail account?
A shared Gmail account works fine until the day two people answer the same email and one of them contradicts the other in front of a customer. Nook is what you move to the week after that happens.
We are already on a big helpdesk. Should we switch?
Probably not. If you have a real support team, SLAs, and a knowledge base, you have outgrown us and we would be a downgrade. We are honest about this because a churned customer costs us more than a lost sale.
What happens when we outgrow Nook?
We export everything — threads, attachments, assignments, the lot — in a format the major helpdesks import directly. We would rather be the tool you left gracefully than the one you had to escape.
Do you train on our customer conversations?
No. Not for models, not for benchmarks, not for anything. Your customers wrote to you, not to us.
